If you want to create a new page about a mod, a plugin or a tutorial for Glue3D, then please follow this guide.

Step 1: Always Search First

Never create a page without searching first. Someone may have already started it under a slightly different name.

Go to the search bar, type what you're thinking of, and press Enter. If you see a similar page, edit that one instead.

Example: If you want to write about "Modding", search for it first. There might already be a page called Modding.

Step 2: Starting the Page

There are two ways to create a new page:

Method A: Click a red link

Anywhere on the wiki, if you see a link in red, click it. It will take you straight to an empty edit box.

Method B: Use the search bar

Type your desired page name into search and press Enter. You'll see "Create the page 'Your Title' on this wiki!" ΓÇô click that red text.

Step 3: The Lead Paragraph

Every article must start with a bolded definition sentence that tells readers exactly what the page is about, for example:

[Page name] is a [brief description].

Example: Glue3D Wiki is a community-maintained encyclopedia dedicated to documenting Glue3D, including its projects, games, history, and other community-created content.

Write 1-3 more sentences after that to summarize the most important facts.

Step 4: Adding Categories

Categories are how pages get organized into lists. Without a category, your page will be lost and hard to find.

At the very bottom of the page, add one of the common Glue3D categories:

Category Use for
Any mod that changes how Glue3D works
Tools, exporters, or scripts
How-to guides
Incomplete pages that need more work

(More categories will be put up soon)

You can add multiple categories. Each goes on its own line.

Quick Start Checklist

Before saving a new page, ask yourself:

 • Did I search for existing pages first?
 • Does the first sentence bold the title and define the topic?
 • Did I add at least one at the bottom?
 • Did I preview the page to check for errors?

If yes, hit Save Page and congratulations! You've created a new page on the Glue3D Wiki.
