glue3d.net, maintained by deniskincses and QuantumBaller, is a website dedicated to the Glue3D community. It hosts a forum and wiki focused on projects, documentation, and community discussion.
History
The origins of glue3d.net date back to September 6, 2025, when deniskincses shared a concept image in the Glue3D Discord server depicting a hypothetical Glue3D-themed website. The design was heavily impsired by 2000s website aesthetics, featuring a simple way to navigate the whole website. Later that same day, the concept was recreated in HTML with the intention of becoming a real platform focused on project sharing and community interatcion.
On October 3, 2025, GL00B would contact deniskincses regarding the prototype website after another community member, later known as QuantumBaller, expressed interest in turning the idea into a fully functional website with its own domain. Development of the site then became a collaborative effor.
Early plans for glue3d.net included a fully custom-built forum software designed specifically for the community. The planned forum featured several unique ideas, including selectable default profile pictures with different color variants and various community-focused systems. However development of the custom software eventually became difficult to maintain due to technical issues and instability.
Around December 2025, development shifted toward existing forum solutions as an alternative to the custom software, like [[DjangoBB, the same forum that the Scratch website runs, and PunkwebBB. phpBB was finally adopted as the site's forum platform, allowing the community to continue operating while reducing maintenance complexity. Despite this, the forum later became corrupted in early February 2026, forcing the forums into a temporary hiatus while work began on a replacement forum and updated styling.
At the same time, glue3d.net continue development alongside the release of Glue3D itself. Although the launch was accompanied by numerous technical issues and unfinished features, the website sucessfully went online and established itself as a central hub for the Glue3D community.
