GL00B, also known as The3DScratcher, or windows, is a Jordanian programmer best known for the creation of Glue3D. Although mostly inactive, he's active typically on his YouTube community.

Minecraft in Scratch

One of the first projects that GL00B documented on his YouTube was a Minecraft clone made in Scratch. The first preview of this project was on August 23, 2023 in the video "Minecraft Is in scratch now", previewing terrain generation.[1]

Posted on February 16, 2024 "MINECRAFT ON SCRATCH", the description gives more detail on what methods were used to be made those being Raytracing and DDA with plans to add shadows.[2]

Only three days later on February 19, 2024 the video "testing MINECRAFT in SCRATCH with RAYTRACING & REFLECTIONS" was posted showcasing shadows and reflections.[3]

On July 7, 2024, GL00B would post a video named "Minecraft on SCRATCH?", remaking the entire project in a sped up video.[4]

Release

On February 24, 2025 the project "Minecraft v1.1" would be shared on scratch. You are able to build and destroy but besides that there's not much crazy to note.

Duke Nukem Remake

GL00B's Duke Nukem remake is the only project documented that was not released to the public.

The first preview for this project was on April 12, 2024, named "test video" and shows some very simple mechanics of the game such as doors opening and movement. The description makes the video seem like it was to be shared as what he could do with 3D in scratch.[5]

Later on the same day of April 12, 2024, GL00B published the video "testing dn3D" with alot of noticeable differences from the first those mainly being gameplay with gun shooting a HUD and destroyable and interactive objects. Additionally it also showed off moving textures.[6]

On July 6, 2024, the video "FIRST legit remake of DUKE NUKEM 3D on SCRATCH!" was published previewing a fully finished game with a enitity system, AI, and 3D bullets. Although impressive, it was never released to the public.[7]

Other projects

He has made other projects that are mostly unknown to the public, like a local LLM in Scratch, another Minecraft clone written in C++, a tech-demo like project that showcases reflections, lighting and 3D directional audio, also written in C++[8].
